I would like to warmly welcome you to Poulner Infant School.

We are committed to providing a warm, welcoming place for children to start their learning journey. Offering the best learning experiences and a nurturing environment is important to us. We create an environment where children feel valued, respected and feel safe and secure. We offer a wide range of opportunities  for the academic and personal development of every child providing the children with the early foundations to become 'life long learners'.

Our school is an exciting place to learn, we have extensive school grounds offering lots of opportunities to explore and learn outside as well as space to support our sports curriculum.

Our broad curriculum is enhanced by visits to museums, beaches, farms and visitors to school, bringing the learning 'alive' for the children. We aim to give the children first hand experiences which in turn helps them to become confident and independent learners. 

All the staff and governors at Poulner Infant School are committed to offering quality education for our pupils and we believe part of that is forging strong partnerships with parents. We value the close partnership with parents and believe it is essential to the success of our pupils. We provide many opportunities throughout the school year to strengthen this partnership through parent/teacher consultations, curriculum meetings and workshops, assemblies and end of topic celebrations.
