Foundation - Liberty's Visit

Dear Parents and Guardians, 27th February 2018

This term our unit of learning is “Fur, Feather and Scales“ and on Friday 23rd March we have arranged for Hedgehogs and Squirrels Classes to visit Liberty’s Owl, Raptor and Reptile Centre at Crow.

To keep down the costs of this valuable learning experience we are asking you to arrange for your child to be taken to and collected from Liberty’s Owl, Raptor and Reptile Centre instead of school (possibly car sharing). This would mean we would not require the cost of a coach, only a contribution of £4.50 towards the charges made by Liberty’s.

Your child will need to be dropped off at Liberty’s Owl, Raptor and Reptile Centre at 9.15 am, where they will be met by their class teacher and to be collected at 2.30 pm. (This will allow time to drop off and collect other siblings to and from school.)

If you have any problems regarding transport please talk with your childs class teacher.

Children will need to wear Wellington boots, their own top and trousers, school sweatshirt/cardigan and a warm, waterproof coat and to bring their usual water bottle.

All children will be provided with a packed lunch including a drink from our school caterers. If you would prefer to provide your child with a packed lunch from home please indicate this on the reply slip.

Please could the permission slip and contribution of £4.50 be returned by to school Friday 9th March

Yours sincerely

Mrs J Conner
